Frequently Asked Questions for the Annual Giving Campaign

 1. What are the different levels of giving for the AGC and what does my child receive?

You can give at any level!  A donation of any size will ensure your child receives a Bee Pin, which qualifies them to get a Treat from the Treat Fairy, who is frequently seen before and after school throughout the campaign.

We are asking a $295 dollar donation from each family to ensure our children receive PE, Teachers Aids, Music, Computers, Computer Aids, Library Aids, School Supplies and all of the great extras that happen at Welby.

A $495 dollar donation will receive a Coupon Book that covers every event at Welby. It includes the Fall Festival, Spaghetti Bingo, Mother/Daughter, Father/Son, Snack Shack coupons, Spirit Store coupons, Bee U Enrichment coupons and all Fun-raisers that POWW offers.

A $750 dollar donation will receive a Coupon Book that covers every event at Welby and is for families who have more than one child. This book includes the Fall Festival, Spaghetti Bingo, Mother/Daughter, Father/Son, Snack Shack coupons, Spirit Store coupons, Bee U Enrichment coupons and all Fun-raisers that POWW offers.

Families donating at the $1,000 level will receive a yearbook for each child in the family and mosaic that will hang at Welby for the year.  The mosaics will be returned to be taken home at the end of the year.

 

2. I would like to make a donation to the AGC, what do I do?

Please visit our online giving form and follow the instructions there.. We will send a Bee Pin home with your child and a Coupon Book, (if you are giving at that level).

 

3. My child has lost their button. How can I get another one?

Please put your child’s name and classroom teacher on a note for the AGC folder saying, “lost button” and we will make sure your child receives another one, while supplies last.

 

4. I did not receive my coupon book and paid last week. When will I get it?

We try to fulfill and distribute the coupon books as quickly as we possibly can. If you do not receive your coupon book within 7 days of purchase, please let us know.

 

5. My credit card was charged incorrectly for the AGC. What do I do?

Please see Alicia in the school office for any billing questions.

 

6. Why are there thermometers in all the classroom windows?

The thermometers represent class participation in the AGC Campaign. In every classroom where 100% of the parents make a donation (any amount), the class receives a reward that usually consists of a homework free night and double recess. The deadline for 100% Class Participation credit is September 12th, 2016.


7. Can employer matching go towards my child's donation level?  For example, if we give $500, and our employer matches that to a $1,000, would that qualify us for the $1,000 AGC level?

Unfortunately, while this would be awesome to do, we are unable to do it. If a company is making a donation, it cannot benefit an employee, without being taxable.
